This quarter we are focusing in on Board of Directors, Policies and Procedures, and Branding.
Board of Directors
Last month, we talked about Board recruiting tactics. We hope you landed new board members ready to propel your nonprofit forward! Don’t forget that new board members need to be onboarded. They need to learn the basics of your nonprofit, current financials, and more information about their role and responsibilities as a new member of your board.
Policies and Procedures

Conflicts can be confusing but failing to manage them properly can cause legal nightmares for your nonprofit and your Board of Directors. We talked about this last month and are dropping a policy for you to use here.
Whistleblower
Another important policy that’s not required, but highly suggested is a Whistleblower Policy. We’ve also shared information and a template for this below!
